In advance of the club’s centennial, ownership wanted to address the challenges with the 17th green. Originally designed by 1896 US Open winner, James Foulis Jr, JGD was hired to create a green more reminiscent of the Golden Age of Design.

Beginning late Fall 2023 the renovation of the 17th hole included modified USGA green construction, enhanced bunker liner with Capillary Flow, and seeded with Pure Select from Tee-2-Green.
