On the Northern coast of South America, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Country Club de Barranquilla is a private club founded in 1926. Jemsek Golf Design has worked with the club since to 2011 to create and implement a Master Plan of Improvements.

 In 2018 the club approved a full scale greens modernization and improvement program. JGD is currently rebuilding the greens using modified USGA construction methods. During this project, the green surfaces are being recontoured to expand pinning areas and improve player experience. Additional project work includes bunker renovations, new tees, and other various course improvements.
